LN is Founder and CEO of Lensbridge Capital, a leading Singapore based (MAS registered) single family office and investment advisory firm set up in 2015 which works in the crossroads of technology and private equity. He has over 2 decades of private equity investment experience, being involved in deals worth over US$5.0b across Europe and Asia. Prior to his career in private equity, LN worked in strategic management consulting advising CEOs of Fortune 500 companies across N. America and Asia. For the past 8 years, Lensbridge Capital has been the exclusive Investment Partner for Cisco Systems’ (Nasdaq: CSCO) global digital infrastructure funds in Asia Pacific, Japan & China. Additionally, Lensbridge Capital advised Tech Mahindra, a technology services company with over US$ 6.0b in revenues, on market creation opportunities through the private equity ecosystem in the Asian region. The firm has also advised leading financial institutions on “GP-led secondaries” for their legacy private equity portfolio. Recently, it served as the exclusive financial advisor to Lighthouse Canton in its landmark transaction to set up a Continuation Fund with backing from Ivanhoe Cambridge, an investment arm of CDPQ, one of the World’s largest institutional investors. At Lensbridge Capital, LN has also invested in various “Digital Native Businesses” in partnership with family offices and venture capital firms. These included Rebel Foods, a Sequoia and Goldman Sachs portfolio company, which has now achieved unicorn status. LN has served as Venture Partner for Novo Tellus Capital Partners, a leading Asian technology sector focused private equity firm, where he assisted the firm in deal sourcing in India. As part of this, he served as a member of the Board of Tessolve Semiconductor, one of the World’s largest semiconductor design and testing businesses. LN’s past private equity leadership roles have included co-founder/Director of Asian office of Ardian Investments (formerly known as AXA Private Equity), Chief Investment Officer for Asian private equity/infrastructure at the Nomura Group and Global Head of Investor Relations at Terra Firma Capital Partners. He has also worked within the European Leveraged Buyouts team of Apax Partners in London and the Asian direct investments team at Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (“GIC”) Special Investments in Singapore. LN holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a B Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He is a citizen of Singapore and a recipient of the coveted National Talent Scholar award from the Government of India. He has also served in the Air Force Wing of the National Cadet Corps in India.
